"Nesting" the old saying that is an instinctual urge to "ready your rest" in preparation for birth and the arrival of a new born. I feel like I'm in a state of nesting, just not preparing for a newborn of course. I'm trying to fit everything possible into my schedule that I would like to do or that makes me happy before chemo starts. I'm even been nesting in the house by, going through the kids closets to get them ready for the new school year to see what they would need incase I don't feel up to it later. Austin has been my hero.. Bless his heart. He has researched all the things I may need and ordered them. Who knew there was a blue tooth water bottle that reminded you to drink???? He found it. Yall I hate water, so pray for me that I will learn to love it because I need to do lots of drinking. Water of course... LOL.. So as you can see we have been nesting several different ways.
This weekend we made a quick trip to where the MAP TURNED BLUE. One of my favorite places to be with sand between my toes. I have some pretty awesome co-workers / besties that have turned into family over the years. I love their kiddos like my own and it did my heart so good to be able to have a change of scenery with them and laugh. I'm usually the one that always has the phone taking pictures. I took some of course but nothing like I usually do because I was soaking it all in. We floated, relaxed under then sun, let the babies catch crabs. They had a blast and got a little sun burnt too. When life throws you curve balls, you learn to lean on those that matter most and embrace it. I've done just that this weekend.
Thank you- I am so thankful for so many that have reached out and showed us so much love and support. You know who you are. We are soooo blessed to have you on our team. People we haven't talked to in years or that are even just acquaintances thru friends have truly been a blessing. It's like Christmas everyday checking the mailbox and reading cards. There is still so much good in this world and I'm just THANKFUL!!
Prayer Request- Pray that I continue to stay well and healthy and can enjoy the time I have before treatment gets started. Continue to pray for our girls as well.
